Championship with high expectations of GP victories and the world title itself for Team CLS Kawasaki Monster Energy MX2.
The 19 year old from Avignon has been associated with Kawasaki since he dominated the French 85cc scene in his youth and attracted worldwide attention when he won the class at the famous Paris-Bercy Supercross in 2009, just a couple of months after a broken radius had prevented him from winning the World Junior title.
In 2011 his career took another step as he dominated the majority of races he contested in the European MX2 series, only to lose the title by a slender three points after being forced to sit out the Latvian round through injury. But he confirmed his readiness to move up to the MX2 World Championship with a top ten placing as a wild card entry at the final GP of the year.
A broken leg towards the end of his rookie GP season in 2012 forced Dylan to miss the final two rounds but could not prevent him finishing the series tenth with his first GP podium, but his anticipated rapid advance up the rankings last year was put on hold as complications with the injury interfered with his winter preparation and affected his results during the first quarter of the season.
The teenager displayed great resolve to regain momentum and won the hearts of his home crowd with a stunning second place at his mid-summer home GP, a feat he was to repeat in the tortuous sand of the season-ending Dutch GP; as a result he improved his world ranking by one place despite the early setbacks.
Having served his apprenticeship with Kawasaki Bud Racing, Dylan transfers this year to full factory support with CLS Kawasaki Monster Energy and is confidently predicted to be the next in a long line of talented French youngsters to challenge for the ultimate goal of a world motocross title.
